Jon Hammond describes himself as a ‘shy person in a noisy body’, which is probably why he has had such
an unusual and eventful career.
It started in a normal way by training to be a surveyor but a love of music and a spirit of challenge saw him leave
the UK to become a DJ in some of the top nightclubs in Europe. It was then a natural progression, after a period of running
venues back in the UK, to join commercial radio and become a radio presenter and producer. Five years later and now recognised
for his regular appearances on regional Television, he joined the BBC. Quickly gaining a reputation as a serious interviewer,
he spent time in studios and on location with of all manner of guests from top politicians to movie stars. It was during this
period that the coaching aspect of his career started, helping people understand the skills and techniques involved in influencing
and persuading audiences. As well as a succesful coach, Jon has always been in demand as a presenter and host for live
events due to his experience, warmth and versatility. Having ‘been there and done it’ means a wealth of knowledge
that he now passes on to clients all over the world.
